Born and raised in the south of France, Nastassia Bruckin is a fashion photographer and visual artist currently based between Paris and California.
She studied art history before allowing herself to explore different directions within the art of photography and portraiture.
Growing up among a community of plant lovers and land artists, she has been cultivating an acute curiosity for nature and its representation as well as the synergie created when we (human) interact with it.
As a result she particularly enjoy to compose around garments embodying the language of flowers or inspired by the forms and motifs derived from its observation.
Other recurring themes in her work are the body (language) and reclaiming the invisible. In particular the potential clothes, colors, shapes or a particular environment can bring to a person to reveal its uniqueness, character and essence.
